I FOUND SOMEONE ELSE

an important moment is when Ariel came to the hospital and said she saw it on the news and said she was late because she saw it and spend time getting ready and then she goes to Jericho and when Olivia and Dana see them Olivia gets sad because she likes Jericho and then he tells her that he doesn't want to be with her that he found someone else that he likes and that is better than her and she says who it cant be that whale because she is not better than me and i don't see anybody else here that u might be interested in and then he hold Olivia's hand and says its her and Ariel leaves out the hospital because no one backed her up and no one followed her out to see if shes okay.

an important moment is when they're coming back from the football game and its 4 hours away from their home and on the way there November starts getting contractions and then she says shell be okay but then they think that they might be ready to have her baby and shes 2 months away from her due date. they stop at the rest stop to go to the restroom when  it turns out that shes in labor and they call the ambulance and the people in the buses from the football game and then the ambulance comes and they get her in a helicopter and Jericho had promised her hell be there with her and he didn't get to go with her and at the hospital allot of people and teachers stay there till morning in the waiting room to support her and hear from the baby. i chose this moment because its where the books been leading to, when shes ready to have her baby and i would think this is like the climax point because now is what every ones been waiting for and even though November wasn't due just yet she still has to make her decision on keeping her baby or letting J\oshs parents adopt it.

November Blues connects to the book No more Sad Goodbyes. these books are alike because in November blues November finds out shes pregnant, she has one parent alive and doesn't know what to do she has an option of keeping her baby or giving it to her dead bf Josh's parents and in her pregnancy the dad of the baby isn't involved and she has her baby and keeps it.in No more Sad goodbyes Autumn is pregnant and doesn't know what to do, she had one parent alive and she first wants an abortion but then her dad and grandma die and she somewhat isn't able to get an abortion and then she wants to give it for adoption. at the end she chooses not to keep it and gives it to someone who doesn't want one and is able to take care of her. Both characters in these books have a very big decision to make and they both decide whats the best for their baby. both the baby's dads are not involved in the pregnancy, the main characters from both books experience death of a loved one.

i wouldnt give you away

 this picture relates to "November Blues" because when Josh's parents find out that Novembers baby may have came out with problems they take the adoption under consideration and tell her they want to wait a couple months to see if the problems are serious, then November realizes that they only want her child if its perfect and she decides that shes not giving them her baby no matter what and she takes her baby home.

Second BoOk

November Blues by Sharon M. Draper, the most believable parts of the book are mostly everything this is a realistic book a story  that can happen to anyone. Her boyfriend dies,she finds out shes pregnant and she doesn't want to disappoint her mother shes her mothers everything ,she is an only child with no dad because he died when she was young and her mother wants the best for her and shes been accepted to the college of her dreams and when she tells her mom it seems as if the world has dropped on her and when she decides she cant do nothing about it but support her she starts telling her allot of things such as she has to take care of her health and she cant eat anything she did before she is told to look up every price of the needs of a baby and then later on she finds out that Josh's parents want to adopt her baby to raise it as their own. November doesn't know what to do because she has nothing to offer the baby and Josh's parents do they have everything a child would be happy with but she doesn't want to be a bad mother and give her baby away like that shes stuck between a decision that's hard for her

Shoking Moment

I am reading November Blues by Sharon M. Draper .November took a deep breath and looked directly at her Friend. "I'm pregnant," she says.November and Dana are in Novembers living room after November skipped school and found out she was pregnant and Dana and her are talking about Josh's death and November tells her that she never really loved Josh. they keep talking about Josh and how he was and why November was still with him. This means allot because November had just found out she was pregnant by her now dead boyfriend Josh and the first person she tells is her bestfreind Dana. Since November is like her moms perfect princess she does not want to break her mothers heart by telling her shes pregnant it would kill her mother. November is just 16 and does not think shes ready to have a baby and be a mother.    

connection

this book reminds me of another book that i am currently reading, their both about a girl who accidentally gets pregnant and their both missing a special guy in their life that has died that could have made life easier if they were there. have i experienced something like this?no.has something similar happened to me?no. a family member of mine can relate to this story though, she was pregnant and didn't tell no one like autumn did and then she secretly had her baby and gave it away like autumn sort of did.

teardrops

this image reminds me of autumn and all the tears that she cried first because her dad, grandma,and Caspar died then because she was alone and couldnt get an abbortion anymore after she spaced out and she had no more family left and at nights she would talk to her dad and she would cry. she would cry alot when she thought about that she didnt know what to do with her life or what the good decisions where.

"But.... I've been reading about adoptions and....cant i just stay here wit you and penny until the baby is born/ and then you can have my baby?"
 this is where autumn tell Nikki the idea that she would like her and penny to keep her baby and like she feels lonely and Nikki is the last person shes known for along time from being her volleyball coach and she would feel safer if the child were in Nikki hands and if she stayed there till the child was born. Her dad always told her to be part of the solution not the problem and she thought that a solution would be that she gives her baby to good hands someone who really wants a baby and that she can trust. instead of just crying and not knowing what to do and having her life ruined she prefers making Nikki,Penny, and her happy as a solution.

time for truth

"I'm pregnant. The baby is due in February. It's a girl. I didn't tell you at first because I planned to have an abortion and i was afraid you'd try to stop me. then there was all of that time after the accident when i was not thinking straight. When i woke up from that, it was too late to get an abortion. No way do i want a baby right now,and even if i did , i couldn't possibly give it a good life. I've already signed the adoption release forms. Right now, I'm staying with the people who will be adopting the baby. they r very nice people . some time today or tomorrow you'll get some information from the adoption consultant, and there will be a release form for you to sign. i wanted you to hear about all of this from me, before the letter gets to you. i'm sorry i hurt you,i never meant to. your friend-autumn."
 this is the part where Autumn tells Jason that shes expecting a baby that's his and after keeping it a secret from everyone and telling a person one at a time with explanation she decides to tell him because she has no choice because he needs to sign the release papers for the adoption to be able to process and after hes moved on from Autumn its easier on her because she wont want to keep the baby. Jason doesnt believe her that its his so he ends up signing the release forms anyways.

gone forever

"i'm very sorry" he says. He takes a long, deep breath. "Your father's car was hit by a gravel truck at the intersection of Live Oak and Spruce. Your father and grandmother were killed instantly."
 this is a very important quote because this is when Autumn finds  out that her only family left has died and she played her volley ball game through out the whole accident and she has no family left. she felt lonely with no one left and shes pregnant . she would have to raise her baby alone and the worst part is that she never told her father or her grandmother that she was pregnant.

ill come back for you

"I've had to say some sad goodbyes to my family-goodbyes that cant be followed by hellos. But you, Baby, before you know it, we'll be saying hello again. We've got goodbyes, but we've got plenty more hellos coming up. I'm going to be happy about that. You can be happy about that, that too."
This is an important quote in the story because Autumn had told her baby that she didn't love her and when she was born she realized she did and told her she loved her and one day she will come back for her. shes lost loved ones and cant say hello again but she tells her there will be plenty of happy hellos to come. i think that means alot coming from her because first she gives her baby for adoption but then she realizes she would have wanted to keep her but she knows whats best for her.

heaven?

"well...truth is, i really dont know about heaven, but here's something i do know. your mom will always be in my heart, and in your heart, and her happy loving spirit will see is through. hold her in your heart,kid."pg.97.during autums coversation with her dad while she sleeps she asks her dad about her mom in heaven, about how heaven is,she asks "are there angels playing on harps?" he explains to her in an example of the yellow submarine. i think autums doing good in over coming her sadness and instead of turning insane like i would she calmly talks to her dad at night or in dreams.

No more sad Goodbyes

"No more sad goodbyes" i like this book because it makes me think if i was in her place,having no more family members left and being pregnant with no decision of keeping it or not.i like that she is strong and doesn't give up even though she has no one to count on and no where to go. If i changed the book i would add a family member because she is so lonely and a family member she could count on would make her choose right decisions. I would also have changed that instead of not telling no one that she is pregnant she could have told the dad of the child,that would have made the story more interesting. A question i have is that if she could have gotten an abortion and went on in her career would she have told anyone in the future that she was pregnant before,or would have she regretted it?
